Q:
Was ist der Unterschied zwischen assignment und homework ?
A:
homework is just something given to kids at school.
Teachers could interchange the word homework with assignments.
But if you're an adult with a job, you wouldn't really refer to it as homework.
And we wouldn't use these words with our friends. They sound formal. We would simply say something like, "did you do what I asked". or "I told you to..."
... or maybe we would use "task"

Like I said on the other post, if you break it up into 2 seperate sentences, it will be even more clear.
Like this:
Additionally, it is highly relative(do you mean relavent?) to the assignment topic (assigned topic?) as it explores issues such as low public expenditure despite the high-income rate (just one 'high' here should be OK), non-practical standards for families, etc. It also identifies overarching regulatory strategies established by a number of organisations.
