Q:
Was ist der Unterschied zwischen contemptuous und contemptible ?
A:
So it is the difference between active and passive. You can be contemptuous of (show contempt towards) someone who is contemptible ( worthy of contempt, or basically a horrible person). Contemptuous is often used to mean comtemptible as well though so that might be why you are getting confused. On the other hand I have never heard comtemptible to mean contemptuous.
Q:
Was ist der Unterschied zwischen contemptuous und scornful ?
A:
Contempt is the mental judgement, disdain is the feeling it produces, and scorn is the display of it. The words can be interchangeable to a degree but contempt doesn't usually imply an action and scorn usually doesn't refer to a hidden attitude.
'The contempt Diana had towards Ruth was widely but silently acknowledged.'
'Pena was contemptuous towards John for what he did to her but she held her tongue.'
'Hilda was scornful towards her husband for his despicable actions.'

Q:
Was ist der Unterschied zwischen contemptuous und dismissive ?
A:
contempt- to show scorn or a lot of anger, to think something or someone is not that important so you show anger towards it
dismissive - attitude you have with someone or something that's not important BUT not angry the way contemptuous is. dismissive is more similar to indifference.
Examples:
He didn't seem to care about the birthday party and was very dismissive when I talked to him.
She hated that class and always showed a lot of contempt towards the teacher.
You can also say "she was contemptuous." But to be honest, contemptuous isn't a word I hear used commonly (more often used as contempt, at least to me. I'm in the U.S.A)
Great to know though, good luck!
