A: Basically true. A ditto mark (") is used in lists to mean that the words or symbols above it are to be repeated. Rarely used in conversation anymore as far as I know, but it used to be said like, " Yeah, just got finished with the yard-work..." " Yeah, ditto."

I don’t use it often, personally, but I know that some people do.

A: I say a little unnatural because where i come from we'd generally just use "me too", but i think there are definitely some who use "ditto" instead. It's more just personal choice, but "me too" is more 'formal' while "ditto" is generally only used with friends.
