A: When animals have sex / reproduce, it is called "mating" so the verb "to mate" means "to reproduce / have sex." "Let's mate." = "Let's have sex." = "Let's f*ck." Hahaha. In American English, we also say stuff like "Bears look for a mate in the spring." A mate is a partner for sex. In my social circle

If within is incorrect, can you explain why?
A: I think within is correct, but it’s unnatural

In is correct

However, I recommend you don’t mention your social circle. It’s better to just say:

You’re one of my best friends
I consider you one of my best friends

Q: Bitte zeig mir, wie man Hey mate, do you fancy going for drink tonight? ausspricht.
A: Schaue nach der Frage, um die Antwort zu sehen
Q: Hey, mate! Where have you been last night?
EN/UK klingt das natürlich?
A: Your "Hey mate" sounded perfect but I could hear a tiny bit of an accent on the word "been", try elongating it a bit and doing it lower, yours sounded a bit too short like "biin".

Also, the sentence itself doesn't really sound natural. We would say "Where did you go last night?". "Where have you been?" would be asked directly after they returned rather than for where they were the day before. "Where did you go?" can be used in either situation.

Great effort though. Hope that helps!
Q: Sorry mate, I can't answer you now. Early of July perhaps will be my school day, so I not quite sure if I can hang up with you guys or not in October. But still let me know which date you guys will be in here. I will try to meet you guys. klingt das natürlich?
A: I might be in school starting early July, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to hang out with you guys in October. Let me know which days you guys'll be here though, and I'll try to meet you.
Q: Shove over, mate.

When asking your friend to step over a bit.. klingt das natürlich?
A: It is natural, but, unless you are very close to the person you are talking to, it is very rude.

A more polite version would be: Excuse me, mate.
Q: G'day mate! Is there anything that I can help you with?
Feel free to give me some suggestions. Cheers. klingt das natürlich?
A: So, because "can" is (or *should be*) an unstressed word in this sentence, that means that its æ vowel is reduced to a schwa ə. The consonants, however, should still be very clear.

Also, this time the "z" sound in your "is" wasn't as clear as in your first recording.

Here's what I (an American) sound like saying this (I'm skipping "g'day mate" since that's not something Americans say haha). Notice how /kæn/ (can) has been reduced to /kən/. This would also happen Australian English, I believe.
