I think it's more natural to refer to a piece of cake as a slice of cake if it's the food (purposely cut to eat)

Example:

However, anything unintentionally smaller than a slice of cake, can be pieces/ a piece of cake.

Example:
- She ate so fast that a few pieces of cake fell on the floor.
- There's a piece of cake on your mouth.

If you mean the idiom, it means "something is very very easy to do".

Examples for the idiom:
- Mary reaches home early because her work is a piece of cake.
- The teacher said that this homework is a piece of cake.

but I would say the first sounds a little more natural. If you said the second, depending on the context I may wonder what it is you’re worrying about. It does feel kind of empty without more words after it.

It's also a bit of wordplay; "peace is not an option" is an expression that nearly always refers to peace in the context of countries being at war or peace, not to individuals being "at peace" personally. The surrounding crowd starts to panic, but the alien raises a three-fingered hand. "I come in peace," it says in perfect, unaccented English.

Basically, it means that you have no bad intentions and don't want to hurt anybody, but whenever people say it, they think of aliens. Wikipedia says "I come in peace is a phrase stereotypically used in science fiction narratives by extraterrestrial visitors upon first meeting the inhabitants of a planet (typically earth)." That's a pretty solid summary, I think.
