many students were already working during their last year of university.

Q: Wie sagt man das auf Englisch (UK)? students have lack of regular practice towards environment in the home and the school. can someone help me to correct the sentence so it can be read out more smoothly? urgent
A: hmmm

students have yet to fully contribute (or commit) to environmental efforts both at home and in school.

I would think you need a strong argument after that sentence as to why those students are not able to fully contribute to caring for the environment ... their capabilites, constraints and limitations...

hope it helps :)

Q: How do students in America dress to school? I am a Korean student, and we have school outfits from middle to high school. I see through Netflix fair amount of girls wear v-neck shirts or crop-tops or tank-tops to school which exposes the upper part of their breast. or just very thin and tight t-shirts, and this too very much exposes their body line. This was a great shock to me because I barely wear short pants even in summer because I hate the sight of other people looking at my legs when I walk by. Do American girls care about this when they wear outfits that expose themselves?
A: @ChristmasKisses Hmm.. this is quite a controversial social issue in America haha. Let me try to explain:

A female student (or any woman in general) who wears more revealing clothes is seen by society as a ‘whore’ or ‘slut’ or ‘provocative’. Basically not very nice things. However, a woman who chooses to cover her body more is viewed by society as ‘conservative’ or ‘prude’, which also aren’t very nice either. No matter what women do, they can’t make society happy.

I believe this is what caused women to come together. Within the last ten years, women have become more empowered. I think (most) American society now views women who wear more revealing clothing in a different way. Instead of showing more skin being seen as a negative, it is seen more as a positive. It shows that a woman is comfortable with her body and doesn’t care what other people have to say about her. Not all Americans agree though, and a lot still think this is seen as provocative.

I think it’s also important to mention that there is a double standard between men and women in America when it comes to this issue. For example, female college students who wears shorts and tank tops are viewed as being a ‘whore’, but if a male student wore shorts and a tank top, society doesn’t think anything of it.

It’s complicated haha. I hope this all makes sense! I’m sorry if this message is too long, I just wanted to fully answer your question. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Q: 不自然でしたら直して頂きたいです。Even if students have an earthquake at the school , they can’t contact with their parents due to not having their phone with them.
A: @HARUSWIFT_ You're welcome!
"in case" isn't used this way, but you can say:
- In the case of an earthquake, students won't be able to contact their parents due to not having their phone with them.

If you wanted to use "in case", you would need to change the sentence a bit. For example:
- In case of an earthquake/emergency, students should be able to keep their phones with them.

"on account of" and "because of" can both be used, but they don't sound as natural. "on account of" isn't that commonly used and "because of" sounds a bit too casual for this sentence. You could also use "as a result of":
- In the case of an earthquake, students won't be able to contact their parents as a result of not having their phone with them.

Fortunately, I have plenty of time now because of the self quartine. It been a long time that I opened the shelf that contains the handicraft goods. I was unusually excited to do something. I tried knitting, but I remembered how to do it. It was still in my head. This reminds me my childhood, just enjoying my little relaxing world.
