A: This is not standard notation; it's probably specific to the dictionary you're using. But from what I can see, my understanding is that it explains how to use the verb (V) which is "get", in this case.
For exmaple VNN means you'd use two nouns (N) after the verb (V):
Get yourself a car. (Get = V, yourself = N, a car = N)
V-ADJ: Get angry. (Get = V, angry = Adjective)
V-to inf.: Get to know someone. (Get = V, to know = to-infinitive)
And so on.
