@Lingo99 I would usually say "like", but both are good.

Hi both are good. In that sentence I would normally say 'liked', because it was yesterday, therefore past tense.
Either works if you still like the film. :)

If you use 'liked', does that mean you don't like the film any more? Because if you say 'I liked action movies when I was younger,' it means you don't like them any more, right?
Or does that just mean you FOUND the film nice at the time you saw it yesterday and that you still like it?

You can say either one. The grammatical meaning is slightly different, but in general conversation, they really mean the same thing.
I saw that film yesterday. I really liked it! = When I saw that film yesterday, I liked it.
I saw that film yesterday. I really like it! = Right now, as I'm standing here talking to you, I like that film.

@Lingo99 In this sentence:
'I liked action movies when I was younger,'
It is 'when I was younger' that really puts a limit on the liking. Without that we can't tell if the liking persists. 😊
>>Or does that just mean you FOUND the film nice at the time you saw it yesterday and that you still like it?<<
Probably.

@Lingo99
Hi, as you said you can use it to mean you liked something in the past, but people usually say 'when I was younger' or similar to show it may not be true now.
Yes with 'liked' you can still like a film in the present.

@Lingo99 例えば:
When I saw that film yesterday I really liked it!
... this starts to introduce some doubt.

@Igirisujin
This starts to doubt??
You mean if you add 'when I saw that film yesterday', it can mean you don't like it any more?
If you hear the sentence you wrote, do you expect to hear from the speaker, 'But...'? Like, 'But now I don't like it any more' or something?

@Igirisujin Hi, why is there doubt? People use this all the time, I just think my friends liked the film.
