This is a story when I visited in Europe a few years ago. I went to the Vinena with my cousin who is a Canadian. I am not good at English speaking now, even worse at that time. I faced a begger on a street. He asked me giving some money, but I did not have enough money for our trip. So I had to refuse his asking, simply using the sentence "I have no money". Unfortunately, I could not remember that short sentence. So I told him like this with nervious,
"I am poor!"
At the moment, my cousin started to laugh and teased throughout our trip.

I wanted to refuse him, simply saying, "I have no money." Unfortunately, I could not remember that simple sentence, so I nervously said, "I am poor!" At that moment, my cousin laughed. He teased me about it for the rest of our trip.
Just a note about punctuation. You should put a comma before a sentence in quotations, and when you have a full sentence inside of quotations, the period should be before the end quote. And you don't need a new line in some of the places where you put one.
