@sergiomartinez: you're welcome!! It's a weird concept bus basically if your unsure about the people, use anyone and if you're more sure about the subject use someone.

Both are correct. But anyone refers to a general large amount of people. Someone can refer to one specific person or also a large amount of people like anyone. But anyone is generally more used to represent something more unknown where someone can be more defined.
Another example:
"There could be someone at the door" "there could be anyone at the door". Both mean the exact same thing but one sounds more specific while the other is more generic

Also someone can be used to describe one specific unknown person. For example "someone stole me wallet" saying "anyone stole me wallet" wouldn't make sense. To use anyone you'd say, "my wallet was stolen and it could have been anyone"
