Is my writing correct❓
It's about rice in Japan.
Japanese including me like to eat rice.
we like to eat onigiri or sushi that is made of rice.
rice is seed of rice plants.
rice plants is originally from tropical or subtropical plant.
Japan is not a tropical or subtropical climate.
so, rice plant is not suitable Japanese climate.
but, now in Japan, many rice producing districts are have cold climates.
rice plant needs the warmth,Japan don't have much the warmth.
so, we can only harvest rice once a year.
it's september or octorber.
in tropical contriese, they can harvest twice or three times a year.
I don't know the reason why unsuitable crop is produced in Japan especially the northern part of Japan.
I think that Japanese government in old times force people who living the northern part of Japan to produce rice plant.
and, they realized the way salt the problem.
they developed varieties of the rice that are adopted to the soil and climate in Japan.
and, they made it.
since then the northern part of Japan has became famous for rice producing district.
it took a long time to develop it.
there were many starvations.
could you please make some corrections, if needed.
