I have been a one-day volunteer in hospital talking to and playing puzzle games with kids. After that experience, am I enough to claim myself as "once served as a candy striper" or "have once devoted in community service"? What's the proper expression for a brief summary of this exprience?

I would just "I've worked with kids while volunteering at a hospital "😊. Or are you asking if you have enough experience to say you are a candy striper?

I enter "volunteers at hospital" in Chinese, and the Chinese-English dictionary software turned it out to be "candy striper". I forgot to google image "candy striper" before posting this entry on hinative. Now I know what it's like. Peace.
