here it is a noun, and it's countable so you can decide if all her desires are one or many feelings. Also: Desire for + noun, but desire to+ verb, you should use desires for freedom...
(Also: lead her to damage her peaceful life)

Yes, "us" is plural so you have to use the plural form of the noun after. "People's lives" and "shape their personalities" is correct. Your sentence - "with dance we are able to articulate our thoughts and behaviours" is correct also.

so this sentence is wrong?
The dancers can get to know themselves, their endurance, dedication, passion.
The dancers can get to know themselves, their endurance, dedication, passion.

That sentence is correct. But if you're using the sentences together they should both be the same style. With dance we are able to articulate our thoughts and behaviours. We can get to know ourselves, our endurance, dedication, passion. OR with dance people are able to articulate their thoughts and behaviours. The dancers can get to know themselves, their endurance, dedication, passion.
Which to choose depends on what you are writing, an academic or formal writing should use they/the dancers. Everything else, especially if you're writing about a personal experience you can use we.

Thank you very much.
But the sentence
'we can get to know ourselves, our endurances, dedications, passions' is incorrect?

Endurance and dedication are uncountable so not plural. Passion could be either, but I guess it's passion for dance... Without s seems better to go with the first two.
