Should developing countries give job opportunities to knowledgeable people from developed countries, or conversely, should the jobs only be provided to the locals? There are divergent views on this matter.
On the one hand, there is no denying the fact that some people from poor countries, have a great deal qualifications as well as experience in the field they have studied. Nevertheless, many of them find difficult to have a job that is really challenging for them in their own country, inasmuch that developing countries have neither technological breakthroughs nor enough resources. For this reason, they are of the opinion that they could have the possibility to apply for a position in a country that can offer them better prospects. For instance, were a person to work in a wealthy country, it is highly likely that he would earn much better. In addition, his knowledge would be better employed on account that he could demonstrate that he would be a perfect asset to the company. What is more, were they to be endowed with some kind of talent, the company will be benefited and it will be a win-win situation.
Having said that, it stands to reason that the detractors deem that each country should guarantee first of all that the nationals have jobs. For them, what should be considered is that should an overseas be given a high-profile position, it is highly likely that a resident will be rejected. Furthermore, seldom do we see that developed countries provide students with a high standard education.
In conclusion, I would say that there is no doubt that more often than not poor countries are not in the position to give residents an ideal job in monetary and challenging terms. Notwithstanding, from my standpoint, guarantee good positions should be a liability of each country and only as a last resort should overseas being hired.
