Frage über Englisch (US)
I left my text book home which is about the TOEIC exam but luckily I found a piece of paper which is torn from a textbook of the TOEFL exam and some questions are on it. So I decided to work on writing some essay today. klingt das natürlich?

Etwas unnatürlich
@DDabcc147 I edited my first response to remove the 'some' before essays in the last sentence. While it is not wrong to say some there, it doesn't sound great to use some twice in the same sentence. You could say either:
1) 'There are questions on it so I decided to work on writing some essays today'; or
2) 'Some questions are on it so I decided to work on writing essays today' (which is what I have put in my response).
You could also use a synonym of some to effectively say it twice without sounding weird, e.g. 'Some questions are on it so I decided to work on writing a few essays today' or 'There are a few questions on it so I decided to work on writing some essays today'.
The most important change I made is to put 'at' before home. I left my textbook AT home.
Also, in 99% of cases a sentence should only have one 'and' or 'but' in it. If you need to use and or but twice, you should instead start a new sentence.
Hopefully that helps! :)

There are a few different ways to say this as it is a lot of information but this is how I would say it: 'I left my text book about the TOEIC exam at home but luckily I found a piece of paper torn from the TOEFL exam textbook. Some questions are on it so I decided to work on writing essays today.'

And I got another question. Why did you use “as” in your first sentence.
1)There are a few different ways to say this as it is a lot of information.
2)There are a few different ways to say this because of a lot of information.

@DDabcc147 as is being used like because in this instance, as you seem to know by your second sentence. However, the second sentence sounds a bit unnatural. It would be more correct to say 'There are a few different ways to say this because IT IS a lot of information.
'Because it is' is describing something about the subject we are talking about (which in this case is your sentence). Whereas 'because of' is more about an external effect. E.g. John is happy because of how kind Sarah was today.

Ok so I will be careful not to use and/but more than one time in a sentence.
