They have the same meaning but “would you be able to...” is more grammatically correct and even a little more polite

Can you is a non formal way but would yo be able too is formal normally used around peers

They mean the same but "Would you be able to..." is a bit more polite but honestly if you're talking to someone it doesn't really mean anything better or worse if you say either one.

I am sensitive to the difference in meaning for personal reasons so I have to say..
.. while these phrases are used interchangeably when you use the word would you're asking if a person is willing to do something and when you use the word can you're actually asking them if they have the time to do this or the ability to do this
