no. the word itself is a singular noun, "my vocabulary *is* good," but the word 'vocabulary' refers to a collection of words that the person knows in their own (or another) language. I hope that helps.

vocabulary is the amount of words you know.
you can have a small vocabulary (know few words) or a large/extensive vocabulary (lots of words)
so it applies to however many words a person knows at the time

@learning257 A vocabulary is a set of words, such as:
The words in a language. (The French vocabulary)
The words that somebody knows. (Dave's vocabulary)
The words of a certain part of history. (The Victorian vocabulary)
The words in a book. (The vocabulary in this dictionary)
The words of a certain craft or profession. (A scientific vocabulary)
などなど。。。
The plural, vocabularies, applies to more than one of these sets, 例えば:
The French and German vocabularies.

@learning257 the meaning of "vocabulary word" as I understand it here is "a *new word* to add to the collection of words (vocabulary) that we already know in English". I hope that helps you.
