Volunteering is one of the rarest qualities people have in this competitive and individualist world, only some organizations and institutions promote volunteering as an important part of their business. We barely find non-profit organizations devoted entirely to help others, among these we can name The Boy Scouts Association, Amnesty International, Red Cross and just a few more. Some high schools require students must complete a number of volunteer works to graduate. I believe this can help to raise awareness in that respect and gradually creating a cultural change in youngsters to finally make a more inclusive society. Volunteering is of capital importance during emergencies and disasters increasing the likelihood of saving more lives, so promoting volunteering culture is a great idea everyone should support.

Even kids can engage in volunteering activities such as planting trees, cleaning campaigns among others. What can you do? I strongly encourage you to implement volunteering activities in your community to be on the lead in this important cultural change.
