Please fix my sentences

I’ve started to study English since I was junior high school student. Japanese English education is only for exams. I studied English of grammar, writing and listening. We couldn’t study speaking. I never speech English in front of someone when I was a student. That’s why Japanese people are afraid that speak English.
When I use English in front of Japanese, I am embarrassed because I get the feeling that “my English is correct?” or “my pronunciation is good?”. I don’t like to speak English in front of Japanese. I’d like to change my behavior. I have to talk to someone in English to improve my English skills.
I usually translate Japanese to English and English to Japanese in my brain. It is bad to speak English. I ended up talking English slowly. I have to change that I don’t use Japanese while I speak English.

I studied English grammar, writing and listening.

Speaking English was never included .

When i was a student, i had never spoken English in front of someone.

That’s why Japanese people are afraid that speak English.

When I use English in front of other Japanese people, I am embarrassed.  I start questioning if my English is correct or my pronunciation is right. 
(I am assuming you are Japanese because you learned English in japan.)

I don’t like to speak English in front of other Japanese people.

I would like to change this.

I have started to talk to someone in English to improve my speaking skills.

I usually translate Japanese to English and English to Japanese in my head.
(“Brain” is correct but it’s less common and more specific/formal)

This is a bad way to speak English because i end up talking English very slowly.

I have to stop thinking in Japanese and translating while I speak English.

:) You did not mention anywhere that you were born and raised in Japan or that you had Japanese citizenship. I guessed(assumed) that you were Japanese because you said you went to a Japanese school system.

The reason i mentioned that was because i added extra information in the sentence that you did not say.

I said “... of other Japanese people.... ”
You said “....of Japanese people...”

By adding “other” i am implying that the person who is saying this sentence is Japanese.”

By not including “other” you are not 
grouping yourself with “Japanese “ in this sentence implying you don’t think of yourself as Japanese.

(I know that you are Japanese now but I wanted to make sure you were so that i did not give you the wrong sentences.)
