@jaayup@jaayup if you wanna say to someone "well done" meaning a good job or something like that, in Portuguese you wouldn't translate it that way. So You could say " Boa" (nice) , "Parabéns"( congratulations) or "Belo trabalho" (good job).

But if you wanna say that something is well made then you can translate it and say "Bem feito" (well made).

Bem feito, but never use it this way.
Only use bem feito when it is in the middle or at the end of the phrase, to indicate that something was constructed/realized very well. Even though bem feito literally translates to ''well done'', it is better used to sinalize something that is well-made.
Esse carro foi bem feito = This car is well-made/This car was well-made. When it comes to ''bem feito!'' [well done!] and ''bem feito pra alguem'' [well done for someone] without additional details, it is always used with ironical meaning and it is even worse, we say ''bem feito!'' when we are satisfied with the disgrace of someone and/or we think that this person deserved what he/she gets [always the bad things he/she gets, of course!]. It is not polite and if you say it trying to compliment someone, it won't make sense at all and people won't understand you.

- A Paula foi deixada no altar.
- Bem feito! [or bem feito pra ela!]

- Paula was left at the altar!
- Well done! [or well done for her!]

So if you want to translate ''well done'' literally to Portuguese, it is better not to. Try to find synonymous for well done, like ''good job!'' [bom trabalho!]. Oh, okay...I know that good job [bom trabalho] often is used ironically in both languages too lol

''Boa!'' [good one!] is generally used and I think this is the more acceptable and natural one. We also use ''Parabens!'' [congratulations!] a lot.
