The more A, the more B.
The more A, the more B.
Hello, I have a grammatical question. I know the expression "The more A, the more B", but how can I say if there are 3 things, like when A is more, then as a result B is also increased but C is decreased.
Which is most natural, or any other better option?
The more A, the more B with less C.
The more A, the more B, and the less C.
The more A, the more B, but the less C.
Thank you for your help!

The more A, the more B but less C is the one that makes sense the most. Do you have an example with the words you are trying to use because there might be a better way to form that sentence that I can help you with.

@Corey_X -san,
Thank you very much for giving me your input.
This is about the new drug development to find out the best formulation (for additives, such as lubricant, coloring agent, excipient, filler, etc.). Each additive with different amount (like "10% additive A", then "20% additive A", then "30% additive A", etc.) is separately added to the basic drug formula to see how its property (like tablets's dissolution, hardness, compression, disintegrability, friability, etc) is changed. Just like chemical experiments.
What I'm trying to say is something like "When the amount of additive A is increased to the basic formula, the tablet becomes harder than before, but its dissolution is decreased" (and so forth, like "when additive B is increased, then the tablet becomes more easily dissolved but its friability increased, etc., etc.).
So, can I say "The more Additive A, the more dissolution, but less hardness" etc?
Sorry if my explanation is ambiguous...

Yes, your example at the bottom is perfect. I hope I helped because your English is very good.

@Corey_X -san,
Thank you very much!
I had never encountered those comparative expression listing three or more items, so I was really puzzled how to put the third one, because I thought like "the first two don't need verb, but what about the third one... or should it be the separate sentence... or any other expression???", etc. etc., so your advice was really helpful. Thanks again!
