Hi, I have a little trouble with this sentence I found during Immersion:
また会っちゃったね乗っけてってくれる?
I don’t understand what the って means. Is it a casual form of と? And if so, what does it mean?
I would translate the sentence as:
I (accidentally) met you again, can you take me along?
ありがとうございます。

@Sandling
Glad to help you. Here are other examples.
食べて(行)ってください→食べてって下さい
見て(行)ってください→見てって下さい
And I want to remind you of something. "って" doesn't always mean like this. As you said before, It is very often that it is equal to "と".
example;
「やめて」って言ったじゃないですか≒「やめて」と言ったじゃないですか
苺はappleっていう意味じゃない。
≒苺はappleという意味じゃない。

乗っけてって means 乗っけていって, i.e, drive someone somewhere / let someone get on the car and take him to the destination. 🙂

@iamaimo thank you! Should I just treat it as a separate expression or is there a verb behind it Like 乗っけている or something? I can’t really see why there is this last って :( Is it just conjugation wise?
- Japanisch
It's a casual form of saying it. I think the original sentence is told like this. 乗っけて(行)ってくれる? But when it comes to uttering it, people usually speak more squashed like this. 乗っけてってくれる?
In most cases, this is regarded as a casual way of writing it. Some people might take it as a lazy attitude because it's shorten and abrupt.(Other people don't care at all.)
Something like that!

The verb "行く"is behind the sentence for sure.
