Talk about types of people who have it. Veterans, women who were in abusive relationships. There are tons of reasons why someone can get PTSD, it’s not always just war. Any type of trauma in one’s life can cause it.
Also you can talk about how it is treated and what kind of medicine or therapy is used for it.

my grandfather was a war vet, his PTSD makes him verry sad from time to time. he manages it verry well but dosnt talk about it much. I didn't even know about it untill I was a teenager.
Also my freind has PTSD from being sexually abused as a child. her symptoms are much worse. if shes not careful she'll go into a fit, act like shes not herself anymore and wont recognize the people around here. these fits can be very scary to witness.
An ex coworker of mine would pull people to the ground when he heard loud noises because he would think it was gunfire.
it's a little different for everyone and of course if the person has other problems like mental illness or physical disabilities that can affect it too.
as far as your speech goes. look into long term stress and its ability to chemically change your brains way of thinking.
