âSomeoneâ and âsomebodyâ are pretty much exactly the same and can be used interchangeably.
âTurn offâ is just a general action. Turn off the light. Turn off the toy. Turn off the stove. âSwitch offâ is used when thereâs a switch involved in turning off/on. Like a light switch.

Someone and somebody can be used interchangeably, however someone can be used formally and informally while somebody is informal.
Switch off and turn off can also be used interchangeably. Switch off more refers to something that usually has a switch to turn it off, like a TV or lights. Turn off can be used for anything.

@___mm Like if a child has a toy that lights up or plays music or moves around, you would want to turn it off when theyâre done playing with it
