Frage über Englisch (US)
"Coming from Kazakhstan with Polish descent. Based in Poland since 2013. Highly motivated, strong-willed and effective in work. I feel strong sense of duty to my superiors, co-workers and clients. Efficiency is the key to success. I am driven by the metaphor "done is better than perfect", yet I always strive for perfection. Prioritizing my tasks in work and managing time is an important start both in working on my own and as a part of a team. I value sincerity and communication. I always take care of a good atmosphere in the team. Willing to learn new skills and advance in new areas."

I am from Kazahastan, but have been based in Poland since 2013. I am highly motivated, strong-willed, and effective in my work. I feel a strong sense of duty to my superiors, co-workers, and clients. Efficiency is the key to success. I am driven by the metaphor "Done is better than perfect", yet I always strive for perfection. Prioritizing my work and managing my time is an important element both when working on my own and as part of a team. I value sincerity and communication. I always promote a good atmosphere with my team. I am willing to learn new skills and advance new areas.
Most of my changes were small grammar points. If you're applying for a job with a US company, you really shouldn't mention the "Polish descent" because it's irrelevant. I am unsure about the "strong sense of duty". It may be appropriate for a job application, but I am unsure if it is a common way to express it. Another way to say it would be "I feel a strong sense of responsibility to ..." This phrase is much more common.

@vdrvnnv
To me it sounds PERFECT.
let's ask to some natives if they agree with my idea to change the verb "take care" in "I always take care of a good atmosphere..." with the following : " I always promote/ encourage good atmosphere in the team".
It can be a wrong idea but it sounds more proactive to me
😜 Let me know your opinion on it

@mommarigo
As you are a native english speaker I have a further question:
Instead of "metaphor" the right word shouldn't be something like: motto, proverb, saying, aphorism?
Metaphor has another meaning, let me known if I 'm wrong
@vdrvnnv do you agree?
Thanks for the patience 😊😅

@funtcannella Lol, you caught one I missed. Yes, "motto" would be a much better choice than metaphor.

@mommarigo
Wow! So is motto a common word?
Thank you again!

@funtcannella "motto" or "saying" are common words. "Proverb" usually means that it's an old saying. And a "metaphor" would be an expression that is standing in place of another thing.
No problem, thanks for catching my mistake :)
