Most of my changes were small grammar points. If you're applying for a job with a US company, you really shouldn't mention the "Polish descent" because it's irrelevant. I am unsure about the "strong sense of duty". It may be appropriate for a job application, but I am unsure if it is a common way to express it. Another way to say it would be "I feel a strong sense of responsibility to ..." This phrase is much more common.
