Do the following sentences sound natural?
The Japanese Department of Treasury said that the total assets the Japanese government, companies, and citizens have abroad were over 1146 trillion yen this year. That is y-o-y increase of 5.1%, and reaching a record high for the third year in a row.
It's said that Japan has been the nation, "The biggest creditor power in the world" for thirty years.
I think the story that Japan has to increase taxes in order to rebuild public finances because Japan has a lot of debt is incorrect.
