The "seam" is the collection of emotions that make the writer "grey, quiet, tired and mean".
Seam could mean either, a section of rocks that are all the same kind, or the edge of the garment where the sewing is. Either metaphor could work in this situation

I try to pick at so many trivial things (worried seam)
that are flawed about you,
like you flung your socks everywhere,
why you havent kissed me in the morns and the like.
these trivial things could make people "worried"
and they are the flaws in our daily lives.

This is how I understand it to mean:
Imagine you are wearing a dress and you notice that the seam of the dress is coming undone. Maybe there is a loose thread, so you pull on it. Most likely you will have just made the situation worse.
My understanding is that the writer is meaning to say that he/she (as well as a lot of us) tends to make things worse by picking at them. “Seam” I believe to be a metaphor to “the relationship between the writer and the person he/she is mad at.”
Notice that the writer is trying (picking at) to make the other person mad .
