I wonder why Americans use "though" so many times. I don't really get what it exactly means! How can I use "though" naturally like a native.

I think “though” is kind of like 근데/그런데.

I like hot chocolate, though I would never drink it in the summer./ (Even) Though I like hot chocolate, I would never drink it in the summer. (First one is more common in spoken speak, the second sentence is more common written down)

I like it though.
= 근데 그거 좋아해

Why is he here though?
= 근데 왜 여기 있어?
(Though emphasizes that you don’t understand why he is here or that you don’t like him being here)

I didn’t tell him to come though.
(Similar to the one above, you don’t need to add the work “though” but like 근데, it emphasizes that you don’t agree with what’s happening)
