Actually, I think a lot of them are very similar to Chinese ones
Some common ones I can think of are "ah" "oh" "eh" "huh" "hmm..." "woah"
I'm including a variety of example sentences.
The differences between "ah" "oh" "eh" are quite small, but if you switch them accidentally, it probably won't be confusing or too unusual. They are all used to soften sentences, express surprise, curiosity, etc... but I think "ah" is the most versatile for most situations, basically the same feeling as "嗯" and "啊"
"ah, I must have been mistaken"
"ah, I thought you already saw that movie"
(both sentences above can also use "oh" "eh" "huh" "hmm")
"ah, have you gone home yet?"
"ah, I understand"
etc.
"ahhh" can also be typed as "aaaaa" "aaahh" etc... honestly, the ratio of "a" and "h" doesn't matter 😅
"ahhhh it's too beautiful..."
"aahhhhh I forgot to submit my schoolwork before the deadline 😩"
"aaa I can't remember where I put my phone charger"
"oh" is the same as 哦, 嗯, 噢
"eh" is a feeling of disbelief or indifference, based on context.
"eh, are you sure?"
"eh, I won't believe you unless I see it"
"eh, I read that book. It wasn't very good"
"eh, I don't really care about that type of thing"
"huh" is like amusement, surprise, or confusion.
"huh, I thought this show had more episodes"
"huh, am I hearing this correctly?"
it can also be used like 吧.
"it's already kind of late huh?" 现在已经有点晚了吧?
"ehhh???" and "huh???" are both very surprised.
"hmm" is like pausing to think.
"hmm, I can't think of anything"
"hmm, where did I save my files..."
"woah" and "wow" are the same as 哇
"woah, so amazing!" 哇,太棒了!
I hope this isn't too confusing. I can also answer any new questions about this ( ̄▽ ̄")

More than thanks for your explain detailed and unambiguous! it will give very lot of help to me! I have met so much modal particles in translating and i alaways wanna switch them to Chinese in properly.
in fact, the word“emmm……”that we tend to use it express disbelief or moderate irony like“eh”. And the word “huh”more like “哈?”.
ps. i love your head portrait

@hg-lab I forgot to mention it, in English, "emm..." is the same as "um", "嗯", "啊", "呃" (to express uncertainty or not knowing what to say, that sort of thing)
And yes, "huh?" can sometimes be the same as "哈?" 😄 You might also see "hah?"
And thank you~ ( ̄▽ ̄) I think your icon looks nice too

@hg-lab ah i'm a little familiar with scp ^__^
i want to try my best to match the feeling and style of the writing. i made some revisions, but i want to make sure i wrote it correctly, so i hope it isn't bothersome to ask for the first paragraph's original text in chinese if possible 😅

How wonderful! Sorry for my poor English expression that just could be used in exams(≖_≖ ). And the original text below:

As you can see, this page belongs to an ordinary student, an unripe translator, and an amateur painter. It exists to easily collect and update the chaotic and miscellaneous works of mine. If I had just tried a little harder in past math classes (in which case I would have been a science student), I could have designed a much more incredible theme for this page. It is but a pity.
Even so, I tried my best to tidy it up. If you happened to wander over here by accident, or you enjoy some of the works here, you might as well take a look at this page. I hope you enjoy what you see.
"is belong" → "belongs" (ex. that belongs to him)
"a" → "an" (an用于元音发音开头的词前)
"disorder" (无序) as an adjective is "disorderly"
那样的话 is like "in that case"... the difference between "in that case" and "in which case" is so small, i had to search it up, but it was still confusing lol. but i chose the one that sounded better.
棒 can be translated as a ton of different words to mean "amazing, excellent, incredible, etc." there are too many (T_T)
for 如果你恰巧在这里闲逛 it isn't necessary to write "if you happened to..." but i just thought it sounded nice to add it. you can just write "if you..."
希望你拥有一段美好的体验 is directly translated as "i hope you have a wonderful experience", but it's a slightly strange phrase in english. you can also say sth like, "i wish you well"
"sector" → "section" or "part"
也就是说 "in other words"
这是一个占位文本 "this is placeholder text" or "this is a placeholder"
overall, I like the impression. most of my corrections are just phrases with no simple and direct translation b( ̄▽ ̄)d
我希望这对你有帮助~
