If you’re confirming that the window was open or declaring that she opened it, I would say, “I saw her open the window.” The important thing is that she opened the window.
If you’re focusing on the fact that you saw her, and what she did is less important, I would probably say, “I saw her opening the window.” The important thing is that you saw her.

In both cases, she was doing it at that time.
In the first one, she finished doing it.
In the second one, it’s possible she was in the middle of opening the window, and then you looked somewhere else before she finished opening it.

@Kellyne So, in the first one, did I look at the moment she was opening the window?
if I looked at it, we should say” I saw her opening the window”.and if I didn’t look at it, we can’t say “ I saw her open the window.” because I don’t know the fact.
So I would think that we don’t have the situation we should say “ I saw her open the window .”

@KOTA_TAKEI
I think my last explanation was confusing. Let me start over.
“I saw her open the window” means the action of opening the window is over. I saw her do it. She opened the window, and I saw it happen.
“I saw her opening the window” means she was opening it when you saw her. Whether or not you saw her finish doesn’t matter. The focus is on her. You saw her. As an extra detail, she was opening the window.
Here are a couple examples.
-Oh, no! I left the window shut and I wanted to let the breeze in.
-Don’t worry! I saw Mary open the window this morning.
-Oh, good!
(The important thing is that the window was opened. Mary happened to be the one who opened it.)
-I talked to Mary today.
-Oh, really? That’s funny - I just saw her yesterday.
-You did?
-Yeah, I saw her opening the window, and I waved.
(The important thing is that I saw Mary. She happened to be opening a window.)
I hope these help! Let me know if you have more questions!

@Kellyne I’m sorry for asking again and again.and thank you so much.
But I’m still confused.
You said that “I saw her open the window” means the action of opening the window is over. I saw her do it.
Why did I find her open the window.?I would think that’s why I saw her opening the window.
so I would think we don’t have to distinguish them.

Technically yes, if I saw her open the window, I also saw her opening the window. The difference is the focus. If you care more about the completed action, say, “I saw her open the window.” If you care more about who you saw, say, “I saw her opening the window.” “Opening” doesn’t tell us if you saw her finish or not. So the focus isn’t on the action as much.
In short: they both technically mean the same thing. The difference is which part of the sentence you want to focus on.
If you say one but meant the other, people will still understand you and it won’t sound unnatural. The difference is very subtle.

@Kellyne thank you sooooo much!!!
Thanks to you I got them.
If I saw she opened the window completely, we say I saw her open the window.
But , if I saw she is in the middle of opening the window regardless of finishing it or not, we say I saw her opening the window.
So basically, when we make good uses of 2 expressions, it’s important whether I saw the action until finishing it, right?
