The course talks about how to manage time successfully, the importance of successful planning, and how planning can affect productivity and overall performance. It also talks about how to start doing what you need to do, how to not procrastinate, and how to gain control over your life. I chose this course specifically to help me balance my work and professional lives. For me, the ideas of this course were very useful and important.
Self-analysis:
The course helped me organize my priorities and not postpone doing short tasks. I started valuing time more than I did previously. At first, we have been taught that time management is a skill and can be cultivated over time. That time management and proper planning help us complete any type of work quickly and in an excellent quality. That they also reduce stress. I think these pieces of advice I learned about dividing tasks will benefit me in my university, practical and professional lives. It was simply to divide the required tasks into four sections: (Important and Urgent, Important Not Urgent, Not Important Urgent, Not Important Not Urgent). I chose this course because it will benefit me in work life.

Analysis of learning:
I learned how to divide time in a way that balances my work and professional lives, and how important is time management in the work field. I also learned to define my priorities in the form of an organized schedule. I liked this quotation which explains the meaning of productivity in a nice way “It doesn’t matter how much time you spend doing certain things or how much effort you put in them… what matters is what you accomplish and what you achieve in the amount of time available in your hands.” I learned the sense of urgency and its impact on productivity, followed by a quote from John Cotter, and I think it will be immortalized in my memory “Those who are determined to advance and profit now simply do not pick a time and they do not increase their stress level by engaging in routine or useless work activities.” I support my statement by defining management in general, which is “the act of getting people together to accomplish desired goals and objectives using available resources efficiently and effectively."

I felt I needed this course because I put pressure on myself some days because the result of my work is not equivalent to the time I waste. I realized most of the time that it is not worth it. I began to feel that I needed to make changes, so I took this course. Besides, I started a new stage and everything was different from the past, and day after day, I felt that I was not accomplishing anything and accumulated a lot of work and it was futile. Then this course helped me change my old ways of managing time because of my previous wrong experiencee.
