Frage über Englisch (US)
Could you please check my grammar?
First of all, I am flexible to different cultures. I worked a part time job at a convenience store where a lot of Vietnamese staff work. Although they speak Japanese well, I started to learn Vietnamese. I thought that if I talk to them in Vietnamese, they would feel close to me. The more I learn Vietnamese, the more I get interested in its culture and this is why I decided to go to Vietnam by myself. Secondly, I have the ability to make the most of resources. Since I did not practice speaking in my high school, I could not speak English at all after I entered the university. I thought that I needed more chances to speak English in addition to the classes. Thereby, I started to use the Academic Support in KUIS to talk to teachers once a week. Also, I took part in language exchange events of Meetup during holidays. In this way, I seek opportunities to improve.

I felt "its" is a little unnatural here. I would replace it with "the", or "Vietnamese" instead. Here's how I would write the sentence:
The more I learn Vietnamese, the more interested I become in Vietnamese culture, and this is why I decided to go to Vietnam by myself.
