A stool pigeon is a somewhat antiquated informal expression usually involving someone who informs the police about criminal activities.
"That stool pigeon snitched to the cops!"
A more natural sentence might be:
"I believe one of the board of directors is leaking classified information to our rivals."
If the rival company hired the individual and had them placed on the board you could also call them a "mole".

@Scottsimoleons thank you for your feedback!
How about “snitch”? Would it work here in place of “stool pigeon”? Or would it sound off as well?

Stool pigeon is almost never used nowadays. As Scottsimoleons has written, it’s antiquated and when people write it or say they’re referring to its usage from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It comes from the practice of using a wooden decoy pigeon on a stool to attract other pigeons, i.e., a person who’s used as a lure for the real prey who is then eliminated.

I agree that snitch would be a better word when it comes to corporate espionage. if they were revealing secrets to a reporter or a superior, they might be called a whistleblower.

Another word for someone who shares secrets is a "rat", although this term might have been more popular in gangster movies from the 1930's. Some people might still informally use it as a verb such as "he ratted on us" or "he ratted us out "
On the use of snitch, @sallykr, a saying in the last few years (at least in jail or a school ground) is "Snitches get stitches" meaning if you tell, you will get beat up.
