Frage über Deutsch

Please tell me about the good app. to study German, esp. LingQ.
I’ve already learned German grammar and want to improve my ability to read, write and speak esp. intelligent content (not just daily or travel conversation).
According to a recent study, the most effective method for second language acquisition is to listen and read many materials which are a bit above your level. Thus I am inclined to think that the approach of the LingQ is closer to that input–oriented method and also it has much more intelligent materials than Duolingo which I’ve used for several months .
If you are a German who has learned French, Italian etc. via LingQ, or a Non–German who has learned German, I‘d appreciate if you could share your opinion based on your own experience.
Besides , I used LingQ a little for free, but soon the vocabulary note(?) became full and the Engl. translation of the materials and highlighting unfamiliar words etc. ceased to be displayed, so I'm wondering if I should buy its premium version.
