Frage über Englisch (UK)
I came across the following two dialogues.
The first one was:
A: How can I get to this restaurant?
B: Go straight along this street, and it's (Does "it'll be sound better?) on your left.
The second one was:
A: What can you see from there?
B: I can see a post office on the right.
I'm wondering if "one's" and "the" are interchangeable in both contexts.
Thanks in advance for your help.

@melway Yes, ‘on my right’ is absolutely fine.

@melway 1) ‘It’ll be’ sounds better.
2) ‘Go straight along this street, and it’ll be on your left/on the left’ - the two expressions are interchangeable here. I’d still say ‘your’ because it’s implied that ‘you’ will be going along the street.
3) ‘I can see a post office on the right/on your right’ - here, they may not be interchangeable, depending on where both speakers are standing. Is the post office on the right from where you are standing, or on the right of the person you are talking to?

Thanks.
As for 3), the dialogue is totally out of context. I suspect A and B are talking on the phone (or texting).
In this setting, is it still possible to say "I can see a post office on my right" instead of "I can see a post office on the right."
