Literally – “capable of taking up space“
Used in to talk about an abundance of things or space-taking.
– There were an even more voluble amount of old chairs in the barn.
Also used in the sense of sound volume – that something is capable of being heard –
– they were talking quite volubly for almost half an hour.
I don’t know if somebody is teaching you that English words are either good or bad, but you need to get rid of this idea immediately. Words are just words.

I appreciate your help, but I still have some doubts.
In some examples I found, "voluble" could be a quality of someone who speaks with confidence, while in others, it is described as a defect of someone who talks too much. Can you help me with this definition too?

Sure. Everything you need is right there in the first line of my answer – Literally – “capable of taking up space“
Imagine someone who speaks well, who you enjoy listening to – they are confident and well spoken – so they are capable of taking up space when they talk, and you enjoy it when they do so. You want them to occupy that space with their voice.
But someone who talks too much, and talks like an idiot – they take up a lot of space, but you don’t want them to. You want them to shut up – to stop taking up space.
