I was brushing up on my Korean pronunciation at adult school when I was a freshman. That was my first time learning the Korean language. While I was there, I learned speaking skills from my teacher which helped me better understand their taboo and etiquette. My major is teaching Chinese as a second language, so I was an intern teacher for one year. During my internship, I made a new friend who is a Korean student. He is very kind and has good manners. Although my English and Korean are not very good, he was very patient when listening to me in class. Sometimes we use body language to help with communication. It was a very special experience to make Korean friends and they left a good impression on me. Because of this, I want to explore this country more.
