Hello guys,
I would like to ask you if americans in general don't like to talk about sexual things like when people ask them things related to dating, sexual things and so on?
Yesterday I asked a native speaker if he could tell me what american girls are like when a guy is hitting on them and he replied ''I don't really feel comfortable to talk about it'',
He was very polite but didn't answer me, and it's not the first time it happens, so is the majority of americans like that?

It's not that we don't like talking about it, it's just considered rude to talk about it to people you don't know that well.

Most people don't like to talk about sexual topics to people they don't know very well. Sometimes people are okay with mentioning dating advice, but it is rare that people openly talk about these topics to strangers.

That is a topic most Americans talk about with close friends. Guy friends will chat about things like that at bars, sporting events, gyms, and in other casual places. Only close friends though.
