@jackjack: well, in our language the stress is signed by the á, é, í, ó, ú (we call that sign "tilde or acento gráfico") but there's certain rules for use it:
1. If the stress is in the last syllable and ends in N, S, or vowels (eg. Corazón)
2. If the stress is in the penultimate syllable but the word doesn't ends in N, S or Vowels (eg. Lápiz)
3. ALL the words with the stress in the antepenultimate syllable should have tilde (eg. Fantástico)
Finally, as in English, we use ? At the end of a question but the difference is we also use ¿ at the beginning of the question, eg. ¿Cómo te llamas?

Ginagamit yung ma nga "á, é, í, ó, ú" kung meron accent yung ma nga salita. Tapos yung ma nga "¿ at ?" Ginagamit sa ma nga tanong. Halimbawa sinabe mo na "¿Cómo se dice?" ibig sabihin nun ay "paano mo sasabihin" pero kapag tanong talaga kailangan mo ng question mark sa simula at ending nung tanong.

@Blanket: I'm still a bit confused. What about the word llamas? It ends in S. Shouldn't it supposed to be llamás?
- Spanisch (Mexiko)
@jackjack: in the word llamas (lla-mas) the stressed syllable is lla that is the penultimate but the word end in -s, so you don't have to put the sign

@jackjack: @Pamela_Ramirez is right. It could be a bit confusing but it's all about following the rules and practice.
