Your English is very good. Only change soup noodle to noodle soup. And you could change foreign nationals to just foreigner; i don't think that has many negative connotations. contextually: a BBS is a very Japanese term or an older English term. Perhaps it is a good idea to change it to forum.

Foreign national would be an option if the exact legal status of people is important: citizen, permanent resident (green card holders) and protected persons (people with political asylum) everyone else who is there temporarily is a foreign national. This distinction might be useful as well in reports from statistics bureaus or in media reports if political correctness is a big issue for them. If this is a text used in Japan for English speakers, this might also still be good to use. I have heard that some Japanese people have negative associations when the word gaijin is used as opposed to gaikokujin.
