Do you guys think it necessary to read each chapter of the book 2 times before moving on to the next one? I can understand between 80% - 90% of each chapter, when I read it again I can understand 95% - 98%. But I find it tiring to read it all over again even though I understand the context better.
Usually I read 2 chapters a day because I read 2 times, if I were to read only once each chapter I would get to read about 4 chapters a day.
Note: At the moment I'm reading the Harry Potter books, I finished book 2 today and tomorrow I'm going to start reading book 3.

As long as you think its worth it to read each chapter twice then I think you should but if you don't think it's truly benefitting you then I would suggest to only read each chapter once. You said you can understand 80%-90% of the chapter after only reading it once if thats enough for you fully understand the story then only read each chapter once. DO whatever feels right and feels like it works for you!

I suggest to just reread the parts that you don't understand right after you read them. Whenever I'm reading, I sometimes lose focus so I have to reread some things.
