@jojojustanotherman Absolutely! No problem. ☺
"Keep track of time" can mean you are checking time constantly like it's a job.
"Keep track of time so you don't miss the 4 o'clock train."
"Be aware of time" can mean to take note of time like you are simply sensing that it is moving.
"Be aware of how much time you spend on the playground."

Thank you for your kind reply and nice clarification. It helps!
In the case of spending holidays in Tahiti,"I wasn't aware of time." seems appropriate.But in the next case,which do you think is more suitable?
A: I enjoyed myself at the party last night such that I lost track of time.
B: I enjoyed the party so much that I wasn't aware of time passing.
Thanking you in advance.

@jojojustanotherman In that situation, you can use either one, but if you use "track of time," it can mean that you had something to do after the party, as though you have a schedule to follow.
If you use "aware of time" in that situation, it can mean the party was so enjoyable that you lost the sense of time. This is to say just how fun the party was, and nothing much to do with a schedule.

Thank you very much for your clarification.
It's a subtle difference that learners find it very difficult to learn without help from natives. Thank you very much for the pointer. And that's the reason your example sentence in the first reply contains "don't miss the 4 o'clock train."isn't it?
Thanks again.
