It is actually a perfectly natural sentence. Some people might not describe the massage with "thouroughly," but I think it describes how intense the experience was.
You can also say "I felt revitalized" to describe the same feeling as "much more alive."

Thank you so much for your advice.
Let me ask you one more question.
I was wanting to say "I felt ..." because this happened last week.
But the first sentence "Having had ... massaged" sounds like 'present past' tense.
If so, the main sentence has to be present, and cannot be past tense, right?
I hope you understand what I'm trying to ask.

Sorry, I meant to say, "the first sentence sounds like "present-perfect tense".

That is a really advanced bit of grammar I had to think about, because it comes naturally in conversation.
The easy answer is: "having had" is fine in that sentence.
The advanced answer is: you can use "having + past participle" in place of "since, because" in a sentence.
"Having had a massage...
"Because I had a massage...
"Having watched the movie before, she expected to be bored. But there were things she found she had missed the first time."
"Because she had watched the movie before, she expected to be bored."
"Having eaten a big lunch, he was able to work through dinner without getting hungry again."
Does that help?

Thank you sooo much for such a kind and detailed explanation.
I know that class-room grammar is not exactly how native speakers actually talk, but I just wanted to make sure.
Thank you again.
